Having worked with us on a unique suspended luminaire for its lobby, this firm’s architect turned to Lite Energy again for additional decorative lighting units.
The vision was to complement the lobby’s foliage with a series of column-mounted luminaires featuring a hidden light source.
We felt the look and performance of the original design could be improved, so we built a refined prototype unit prior to full production. After viewing the prototype the architect agreed to move ahead with our recommendations.
The final result was an attractive petal design, made from perforated stainless steel and installed in pairs on either side of the lobby’s support columns. Each luminaire contains a hidden indirect low-wattage MH uplight recessed within the column facing.
This project is another example of successful collaboration between our custom lighting specialists and a client who has come to depend on our flexibility and attention to detail.
